Tony is an illustrator and author with more than twenty years' experience in children's publishing, with over fifty titles across board books, chapter books, picture books and graphic novels. His illustration work is grounded in traditional media, watercolour, ink and pencil, supported by a deep understanding of professional publishing workflows and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Tony began his creative life in ceramics and glassblowing before moving into illustration, and that hands?on craft background still shapes the way he approaches materials, process and visual storytelling. He's taught design at UTAS, University of Canberra and Nepean College of the Arts (NSW), and he loves helping students build confidence in their own creative voice. His in?person classes are relaxed, practical and welcoming, with a focus on discovering what each student wants to explore and giving them the tools to grow.
